Your account
Do I need an account?
No. Reading never needs one. An account keeps your reading progress, quiz answers, and saved and liked cards on any iPhone you sign in on; your XP, streaks and badges stay on your iPhone for now. With Premium, it also lets you vote and suggest ideas on What’s Next. Sign in with Apple, with Google, or with a link and a code we email you; with Sign in with Apple you can choose Hide My Email, and everything works the same. You must be 13 or older to make an account.
How do I delete my account?
- Open Profile and tap your account at the top.
- Tap Delete account, then Delete account again to confirm.
Your account is deleted right away, with the progress and saved cards kept in it, and this can’t be undone. If you signed in with Apple, Apple asks you to confirm, so Sign in with Apple stops for Mind Over Scroll too. What you’ve read and saved stays on your iPhone until you delete the app.
Deleting your account doesn’t cancel Premium; cancel that in Settings. Can’t open the app? Write to us from the account’s email address and we’ll delete it for you.
My sign-in email didn’t arrive
Look in your junk folder, check the address and ask for a new one. If you asked more than once, use the newest email: each link and code works once, and expires within the hour.
Texts and Plain English
Where do the texts come from?
Every passage is in the public domain in the United States. Profile › Sources and translations lists the editions and translations we follow, and credits the paintings, engravings and photographs.
I found a mistake
Thank you. Tap Contact support in Profile and choose A text or translation, or write to us, with the card’s title and what you found, whether it’s in a passage, a Plain English note or a quiz.
What’s Next
How does What’s Next work?
What’s Next is the board of collections and features we could build next, in Library and in Profile. Anyone can read it, with no account. Premium members vote, one vote per idea, and the most wanted ships first; What’s New tells you when it arrives.
Premium members can also suggest a collection or a feature, up to three a day, once they’re signed in. Ideas are plain text, and a moderator reads each one before it appears. Your first vote on an idea earns 5 XP, and an idea of yours that’s added earns 25.
How do I report an idea or block someone?
Tap Report or block under any reader’s idea.
Report takes the idea off your board at once, with or without an account, and a moderator reviews every report. An idea reported by three people with accounts is hidden for everyone until a moderator decides. Block, on the same sheet, takes everything that person suggests off your board, now and later, and they aren’t told; blocking needs an account. Change your mind with Unblock at the foot of the board.

Privacy
What does the app collect?
The app has no ads, tracking or analytics of our own and no session replay, and reading never needs an account. Google’s sign-in software, which runs only if you choose Sign in with Google, collects device and usage data for Google. The Privacy Policy lists what the app, this website and What’s Next collect, who handles it and how long it’s kept, and the Terms of Use cover Premium and the board.
For a privacy request, write to us with “Privacy request” in the subject.
Write to us
Email hello@mindoverscroll.com, or tap Contact support in Profile: pick a topic, write your message, and Send feedback opens Mail with it addressed to us, along with the app’s version, your iPhone model and its version of iOS, unless you switch that off.
If something isn’t working, tell us what you tapped, what you expected and what happened instead, with your iPhone model and its version of iOS. A screenshot helps.
